Production of valves began in Mr. Muller's house in the late 1950's, initially to supply the emerging washing machine industry. After fifty years and expansion into adjoining houses and a petrol station further growth was not possible.

Therefore a new purpose built factory was constructed in 1995, with a floor space many times greater than the old factory leaving plenty of room for expansion.
