New Magnetic Coupling Pump from A. u. K. Müller

Light, quiet, durable: The new magnetic coupling pump from A. u. K. Müller impresses with its compact dimensions and ease of maintenance.

New Magnetic Coupling Pump

Only 60 mm small1, but with great features: The latest magnetic coupling pump from A. u. K. Müller is even lighter, more quiet and more durable. It is also compact and particularly easy to maintain. We explain the technical refinements of the magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps of the latest series.

The essentials in brief

  • Extremely durable due to brushless motor
  • Compact dimensions and low weight
  • Easy cleaning and maintenance thanks to bayonet lock for disassembly
  • Suitable for food and hot water
  • Particularly silent in operation
  • Available approvals: NSF, WRAS, ACS, KTW-BWGL, EC1935/2004

Small but mighty! The latest magnetic drive pump from the 41.007.400 series combines durability with compact dimensions and easy maintenance. With the new impeller pump, A. u. K. Müller is expanding its range of solutions for increasing pressure, improving dosing consistency and raising the media temperature within the application.

The new centrifugal pump is smaller and lighter than its big siblings of the 41.008. series and, in addition to its low weight, scores with its extremely well thought-out ease of maintenance. The impeller pump increases the pressure up to 280 mbar. It is suitable for cold and heated drinking water up to 96 °C as well as physically and chemically similar media.

Magnetic coupling of the pump impeller

The pump impeller is driven without contact via a magnetic coupling. This hermetically separates the drive unit from the hydraulic unit. This separation of media means that leaks, such as those caused by commercially available seals on rotating drive shafts, cannot occur in the first place.

Maximum comfort - minimum cleaning and maintenance effort

The pump housing can be opened by means of a bayonet catch. This means that the interior can be cleaned if necessary and the impeller can be easily replaced without the need for a new centrifugal pump. This reduces life cycle costs and maximises the sustainability of the magnetic drive pump.

Maximum service life - minimum impact on the medium

The pump is driven by a low-wear, brushless motor. The pump housing is made of premium materials and the impeller is hermetically separated from the drive unit. Due to the materials used and the design solutions, the pump has a long service life of more than 1500 hours - tested under laboratory conditions.

Due to the hermetic separation and the materials used, the pump has no influence on the temperature and taste of the food. No matter whether hot or cold. This is underlined by the available approvals NSF, ACS, WRAS, EC1935/2004 and KTW-BWGL.

Summary: Areas of application for impeller pumps

Magnetic drive pumps, impeller pumps or centrifugal pumps from A. u. K. Müller are particularly suitable for increasing pressure and improving dosing and temperature consistency. As a result, they are used in a wide range of applications. The special feature: the pumps are driven by a magnetic coupling system. The contact-free transmission of the drive force to the pump impeller means that conventional mechanical seals can be dispensed with. The static seals are mechanically less stressed and thus wear-resistant and maintenance-free. It also makes the pumps extremely quiet.

Reliable separation of the medium from the environment as well as careful material selection make the pumps suitable for food and hot water applications.
